Patricia A. Haldeman

Patricia A. Haldeman, 81, passed away on Sept. 30, 2012.

Patricia was born Sept. 18, 1931, in Philadelphia, Pa., to Samuel and Edith Boyd.

After graduating from Germantown High School, she attended Linden Hall Junior College in Lititz, Pa., where she graduated in 1953. While she was in Lititz she met and married Orville “Dubbs” Haldeman.

They continued to reside in Lititz, where Pat was a homemaker, and her husband owned and operated the Warwick House. They had three daughters. During that time she was active in the Linden Hall Alumni Association, along with some of the lifelong friends she made at LH.

In 1968 they moved to St. Croix, and then onto Rutland, st., a few years later to pursue other interests.

In 1976, she moved to Flourtown, Pa., and lived there for the last 30 years with her mother. After her mother’s passing, she moved in with her oldest daughter in West Norriton.

She was an active parishioner and member of the choir at St. Philip’s Episco- pal Church. She also hosted Bible study in her home. Some of her other interests included reading, travel, lunch with friends and entertaining friends and family with her renditions of oldies love songs. She loved to sing. She was a warm, loving person who loved life. She had a great attitude and loved to laugh.

She worked at Chapel Hill Manufacturing Co. in Oreland for 30 years. She loved to work and only retired to be a caregiver to her mother in later years.

Pat is survived by her three daughters, him Davis, Dawn Pitt, and Pam Haldeman, and by two grandchildren, Rodney Maranville and Amanda Pitt.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Craft Funeral Home of Erdenheim, Pa. A memorial service will be held at St Phillips Episcopal Church in Oreland, Pa, on Oct. 27, 2012, at 11 a.m.

The interment will be private.
