James Langley

James Ernest Langley passed from this life February 25th, 2022, in Hugo. He was born March 17th, 1944, in Antlers, to James Franklin and Nettie (Monroe) Langley. James met Roberta Hinds at a laundry mat. They later married and were blessed with 42 years together, before Roberta's passing in September of 2017. Together they shared five children: Leslie, Crystal, Michael, Shawnna and Kristi. He enjoyed playing and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him. He is preceded in death by his parents: James and Nettie Langley; wife: Roberta Langley; grandson: Tye Langley; siblings: Pauline Coats, Nadine Leathers, Christine Duffy, Lorrine Rushing, Irene Axton, Jimmy May Simpson, Leo Langley, Blondale, Velma and Cleo. James is survived by his children: Leslie Noel and husband Lanny of Ft. Towson, Crystal Cross and husband Robert of Atoka, Michael Langley of Stillwater, Shawnna Langley of South West City, MO., and Kristi Rankin of Antlers; grandchildren: Whitney Pierce and husband McKenna, Tiffaney Noel, Courtney Aldana and fiance Riley Luck, Mallory Langley, Rance Langley, Raven Lewis and Trinity Lewis; great-grandchildren: River Noel, James Wilder Pierce, Jaxson Luck and Rayce Luck; along with other relatives and friends. Pallbearers include Lanny Noel, Robby Cross, McKenna Pierce, Stevie Webb, Tanner Cole and Michael Langley. Honorary pallbearer includes Riley Luck. Graveside services were held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at Cloudy Cemetery in Cloudy. Services are under the direction of Serenity Funeral Service in Antlers, Oklahoma.
