FEDERAL PROGRAMS

Moyers Public School meeting for ALL Federal Programs, including but not limited to, Johnson O’Malley, Title I, Title VI, Title IIA, Impact Aide, ARP Esser II & III and all other Federal Programs, will be held on Thursday, March 9, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. in the Office of the Superintendent. The Public is invited to attend.

TOURNAMENT

Gracie Sam, Rattan FCCLA Officer, is competing at the state level in Event Management. She will be putting on a corn hole tournament benefiting Goodwater United Methodist Youth Group on March 11, 2023 at the Rattan Gymnasium. Registration 8:00 – 8:45 a.m. Tournament starts at 9:00 a.m. Entry Fee will be $50 for doubles, $25 for singles. Payout: Doubles $1000, Singles $500. Register with SCORE HOLIO. CIRCUS

The Culpepper & Merriweather Circus, sponsored by the Pushmataha County Chamber of Commerce, will be in Antlers on Friday, March 17, 2023, at the Antlers Fairgrounds (HWY 271) with shows at 5:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Circus Day Schedule: Teant Raising and Tour 9:30 a.m.; 4:00 p.m. Midway Opens (pony rides, moon bounce, giant slide, face painting, concession stands and box office opens). Shows: Get ready for an amazing show the whole family will love. Each show lasts about 90 minutes. Tickets: Advance Ticket Prices - Adults $13, Child (2-12) or Senior (65+) $8. Advance tickets can be purchased BEFORE circus day from these locations: Pruett’s Food, Sharpe’s Dept Store, Wildlife Heritage Center Museum, Miller Insurance or the Chamber Office. Box Office Prices: Adults $16, Child (2-12) or Senior (65+) $9. Tickets go on sale one hour before each show.

CHAMBER BANQUET

The Pushmataha County Chamber of Commerce is proud to present their Annual Chamber Banquet. It will take place on Saturday, March 25th at The Gather (216 N High Street) in Antlers starting at 6:30 p.m. Watch for more details.

EASTER EGG HUNT

The Roundup Cowboy Church Children’s Ministry will host an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 25, 2023, between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. at the RCC in Antlers. Come join us for some fun for kids up to age 12. Bring your extra large baskets because we’ll have eggs running out of our bunny ears. There will be special prizes given away too! Make sure to come on time because these eggs will go fast!

POKER RUN & CHILI COOKOFF

There will be a “Chris Black” Poker Run & PMT’s Chili Cookoff from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Pine Mountain Park/Pine Mountain Trails in Rattan. This is a Poker Run ATV Style. For more information please contact 580-587-2758.

FAMILY FUN DAY

April 15, 2023, starting at 9 a.m. at K River Campground, will be a Family Fun Day Celebration! Free games, bounce house, finger painting, dance-off, live d.j., and a hot dogs and chips lunch. Tournaments: Corn Hole for adult and kid teams (winner receives a custom corn hole set) and Horse Shoes for adult and kid teams (winner receives a custom trophy. $10 per team to enter. 5% off Reservations with T-shirt Pre-purchase. Everyone must check in at the Clubhouse to sign a waiver for the day.

LIBRARY FUN

Mother Goose: Every 3rd Wednesday of the month at 11 am. Parents, bring you 0-5-yearolds to enjoy infant/parent playtime.

CLINIC

First Baptist Church Community Food Bank is open from 9am to 11:30 every Wednesday. The Free Clinic is open the last Thursday of every month starting at 5 pm. They are both located at 1701 West Main Street: Heading West on Hwy 3 the blue metal building on the left just before the turnpike (previously the Cross Timbers Church.)
