BINGO FUNDRAISER

There will be a Bingo FUNraiser on Saturday, Febraury 3, 2023, at 5:30 p.m. at the Pushmataha County Fair Grounds in Antlers. This event is presented by the Antlers Band Boosters. Please join us for a fun night with some great prizes and awesome silent auction items. There will be concession­s available. Proceeds will go to the band for their expenses and to the boosters to help pay for state championsh­ip rings for the band.

BOOK SIGNING

Come meet and support one of Antlers’ local authors - Brad Gernand. The signing will take place at Sacred Grounds on Friday, February 2, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Brad is a graduate of Antlers High School and the University of Oklahoma. He has served as archivest in the National Archives, Senior Archivist in the Library of Congress, and as Informatio­n Manager of the Institute for Defense Analyses. He has also served as Senior Director of Communicat­ions and Executive CommunicaN­ation. We look forward seeing you there!

TRIVIA NIGHT The Friends of the

Antlers Public Library are excited to announce 2024. TRIVIA NIGHT! Feeling smart? Join us on February 17th, 2024, at 5:30 p.m. in the Library Community Room in Antlers. $10 per person, ages 12 and up. Teams of 4 will compete to win. All proceeds go towards supporting your local library. Prizes await! Including $25 Amazon gift cards for each member of the winning team. Pr-register at the Antlers Public Library. Categories for Trivia Night will be TV/ Movie, Music, Sports and Books. Concession­s will be available.

DEER CHILI COOKOFF

The Deer Capital Tourism Associatio­n is proud to present the This event will take place on Saturday, March 23, 2024, from 9:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Wildlife Heritage Center Museum (610 SW “D” Street) in Antlers. Entry Fee is $10 per cook. The event includes: 2 lbs of ground deer meat will be provided with entry. Cooks must provide all other items needed to complete chili on site. ANTLERS GUN SHOW

Antlers VFW Post 3658 will once again host the Antlers Gun Show. This year the event will take place at the Antlers Fair Barn on Saturday, March 23, 2024, from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Sunday, March 24, 2024, from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Admission is $8, children 12 and under free. $1.00 - itary, NRA Memebers, Uniformed Law Enforcemen­t, First Responders and Selling or Trading.

FUN AT THE LIBRARY

First Thursday of the Month: Booker’s Buddies JR – ages 6-12 - games and crafts. From 4:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Second Thursday of the Month: Booker’s Buddies – ages 1317- crafts, homework or hangout. 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Come and Go.

Third Wednesday of the Month: Mother Goose Plus – ages 0-5 and parents – Activities and Music. 11:00 a.m. - 11:45 a.m.

Forth Thursday: Movie Night: G or PG Movies – 4:00 p.m. until the end of the movie.

PUSH CO HOSPITAL LUNCH

Pushmataha Hospital Auxiliary will once again be serving food to the public! Lunch will be served from 11am-12:30pm, Monday through Friday, out of their Auxiliary room. Lunch will include a full meal with desert and a beverage for only $7.00 each (Sandwich options available at a reduced price). Come by and try a hot, fresh, homemade meal at a discounted price!

RATTAN COMMUNITY CENTER

Lunch every Wednesday – lunch starts at 12-noon/ to go orders start at 11:30 a.m. $5 per meal.
