FRESH START NUTRITION PROGRAM
The Fresh Start Nutrition Program will take place from 3-4 p.m. at the Antlers Public Library. All lessons include easy recipes and free cooking tools. DEER CHILI COOKOFF
The Deer Capital Tourism Association is proud to present the 2024 Deer Chili Cook place on Saturday, March 23, 2024, from 9:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Wildlife Heritage Center Museum (610 SW “D” Street) in Antlers. Entry Fee is $10 per cook. The event includes: 2 lbs of ground deer meat will be provided with entry. Cooks must provide all other items needed to complete chili on site.
Cooks meeting will be at 9:30 a.m. Chili turn in will be from 2:00 p.m. - 2:10 p.m. If the cook fails to turn in their chili All proceeds will go to the DCTA. For more info call 580-298-5635. This event is limited to the
ANTLERS GUN SHOW
Antlers VFW Post 3658 will once again host the Antlers Gun Show. This year the event will take place at the Antlers Fair Barn on Saturday, March 23, 2024, from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Sunday, March 24, 2024, from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Admission is $8, children 12 and under free. $1.00 - itary, NRA Members, Uniformed Law Enforcement, First Responders and Selling or Trading.
ANTLERS CLEANUP
Don’t Trash Antlers! Join us for a citywide cleanup of Antlers. Multiple days planned: Friday, April 5 & Saturday, April 6; and Friday, May 3 & Saturday, May 4. Those that wish to participate can meet at 10:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church Parking Lot in Antlers.

The City of Atnlers and the Deer Capital Tourism Associaiton will host a Grand Opening and Dedication of the Madge Centry Community Park (located at 703 SW C Street in Antlers) on Monday, April 1, 2024, following the city council meeting. The meeting is at 12:00 p.m.

The Choctaw Nation Princess Pageant for District 7 will be held in Wright City on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. at the Wright City Choctaw Nation Community Center. SCRAP TIRE COLLECTION EVENT
The Pushmataha and Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality are hosting a Scrap Tire Collection Event. The event will take place on Saturday, April 6, 2024, from 9am – 4pm at the Antlers Fairgrounds. Residents of Pushmataha County are free to bring old tires to this event. Anyone in the business of selling and or changing tires, any person residing outside of Pushmataha County cannot bring tires to this event. What tires can be duty truck tires, motorcycle and moped tires, bus tires and agricultural equipment/tractor tires. What tires are NOT ac - hicle tires, Airplane tires, Bicycle tires, Mower/ wheelbarrow tires and not agricultural tires (forklift and other heavy equipment tires). RTR Environmental will remove the old tires after the event. Tires are processed into various prodplayground mulch or molded rubber products. Pushmataha Hospital Auxiliary will once again be serving food to the public! Lunch will be served from 11am-12:30pm, Monday through Friday, out of their Auxiliary room. Lunch will include a full meal with desert and a beverage for only $7.00 each (Sandwich options available at a reduced price). Come by and try a hot, fresh, homemade meal at a discounted price!

Church Community Food Bank is open from 9am to 11:30 every Wednesday. The Free Clinic is open the last Thursday of every month starting at 5 pm.
