2024 HOMECOMING

The Pushmataha County Chamber of Commerce is proud to present the theme for this year’s Homecoming Celebratio­n (which as always, will take place Father’s Day weekend – June 14th through June 16th). The 2024 Theme is – Country Charm “Back roads to home town roots.”

2024 DEER FESTIVAL & OUTDOOR SHOW

SAVE THE DATE!!! The DCTA has announced that the Deer Festival is BACK! It will take place October 4th and 5th. Vendor forms will be available at the Wildlife Heritage Center Museum in Antlers. 10X10 Booth Space for $20! Merchandis­e sold must be of an outdoor nature! MEETING

Push. Co. Retired Educators and Support Personnel will meet Wednesday, May 1, at the Push. Co. Hospital Auxiliary Room. We will have lunch/meet at 11:00 am.

ANTLERS CLEANUP

Don’t Trash Antlers! Join us for a citywide cleanup of Antlers. Multiple days planned: May 3 & Saturday, May 4. Those that wish to participat­e can meet at 10:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church Parking Lot in Antlers.

OPEN HOUSE:

The Pushmataha County Historical Society is holding an open house on Saturday, April 27, 2024, from 1:00-3:00 p.m. Brad Gernand has agreed to speak about his 2 Volume History of Pushmataha County “Hardscrabb­le.” We have asked that he be prepared to answer all of your questions about his book, his writings, and our history. In addition, he will have books to purchase. We look forward to an enjoyable and informativ­e afternoon. Hope to see you there!

BASS TOURNAMENT

The Antlers Rotary Team Bass Tournament will take place on Saturday, April 27, 2024, from 7 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the Potapo Boat Ramp at McGee Creek Lake. Entry Fee is $50 per boat, plus $1 membership per - er, Payout for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and Big Bass. This scholarshi­p program. For more informatio­n please contact 580-364-3183.

The First Annual - ing the Farris Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary, will take place on April 27th. More details to come on all the stops. All bikers welcome - $20 entry fee to ride. PUSH CO HOSPITAL LUNCH

Pushmataha Hospital Auxiliary will once again be serving food to the public! Lunch will be served from 11am-12:30pm, Monday through Friday, out of their Auxiliary room. Lunch will include a full meal with desert and a beverage for only $7.00 each (Sandwich options available at a reduced price). Come by and try a hot, fresh, homemade meal at a discounted price!

“BINGO!! Hosted by Elara Caring. Come join us for a good time of bingo with friends! Fun Prizes! Bingo with Elara Caring Hosts on THE LAST THURSDAY OF EACH MONTH, from 10-11:30 at the Antlers Senior Center. Located at 248 NW St. Lunch served afterwards to seniors for a $2 donation. FOOD BANK & FREE CLINIC

First Baptist Church Community Food Bank is open from 9am to 11:30 every Wednesday. The Free Clinic is open the last Thursday of every month starting at 5 pm. They are both located at 1701 West Main Street: Heading West on Hwy 3 the blue metal building on the left just before the turnpike (previously the Cross Timbers Church.)
