of Scottsdale, Arizona passed away December 16, 2012 at the age of 93. He was born on September 24, 1919 in Friendsvil­le, Maryland to William and Rhuie Fike. Chuck proudly served in the US Army during WWII in the Anti Aircraft Artillery Battalion. He met his wife, Dorothy, in Youngstown, Ohio, to whom he was married for 58 years. Chuck was a Service Station owner, and throughout his life owned stations in several different states. He brought his wife and their two daughters to Arizona in 1971 to live and work in a warmer climate. Chuck’s favorite hobbies were antiquing and lapidary work of which he produced many lovely pieces. He is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy, their two daughters, Janice Gibbons (Gregg) and Joanne Fike; and Chuck and Dot’s beloved dog, Rex. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Chester. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 28th, with a visitation 1 hour prior, at Bethany Lutheran Church, 4300 N. 82nd Street, Scottsdale. A graveside service with military honors will be at 1:00 p.m. at the National Memorial Cemetery, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road, Phoenix.
