Jones, Dorothy Lee

Dorothy Lee Jones, 61, of Phoenix, passed away on December 13, 2012 at the Phoenix, AZ. She was born on May 15, 1951 to John and Geneva (Burden) Smith at Stubenville, OH. She attended school at Sunnyslope High School and then proceeded onto Grand Canyon University. Dorothy worked as a Volunteer Coordinator for Lifewell. On October 1, 1970 she married Douglas at the Central Heights Southern Baptist Church . Dorothy is survived by her loving spouse of 42 years, Douglas; 3 sons - Taryl Davyd Jones, Davyn Douglas Jones, Jaylen Bryan Jones; a daughter - Keyann Corrine Todd; her parents, John William Smith and Geneva Faye Gibson; and 2 brother, James Richard Smith and John William Smith Jr. Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 29, 2012, at Best Funeral Services - North Central Chapel (501 East Dunlap Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85020) Online condolences can be given at www.bestfuneralservi ces.com.
