Phillips, Jeanine Marie

Jeanine Marie Elena Phillips, 61, of Anthem, passed away December 20, 2012. She was born December 22, 1950 in Oak Park, Illinois. She was predeceased by her father, Edward John Phillips, who passed away in 1980 and is buried at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Hillside, IL and her mother, Anna B. (nee Solmon) Phillips who passed away in 2005 and is buried at Holy Redeemer Cemetery in Phoenix, AZ. Jeanine attended Sacred Heart School in Melrose, IL and graduated eighth grade in 1964. She attended Nazareth Academy in La Grange, IL and graduated high school in 1968 then went on to attend Loyola University in Chicago, IL. Jeanine began teaching at Proviso West High School in Hillside, IL from 1977 until 1993. She was a counselor and Department Chairman at Eisenhower High School in Blue Island, IL from 1993 until 2003. She moved to Arizona in 2003 where she was a Counselor and Department Chairman at Glendale High School. She is survived by her cousins; many "honorary" nieces and nephews and dear friends. Visitation will be held from 9:30AM10:30AM, with funeral mass at 10:30AM, Thursday, December 27, 2012, St. Rose Philippine Catholic Church, 2825 W. Rose Canyon Cir., Anthem, AZ.
