Sargent, Rosemary Ellen

Rosemary Ellen Sargent born October 29, 1916 to Charles and Carrie Grimes, in Qulin, MO., has gone home to be with the Lord on December 21, 2012, in Sun City, AZ. During her earlier years, she lived in Michigan where she and her first husband Paul Wittum raised four children. Richard Wittum (Ethel), Raymond Wittum (Sharon), Patricia Humphrey (Norman), and Joan Hockamier (Morris). Rosemary later married Harry Sargent, who had three children. They made Arizona their home in 1956, where they managed a large apartment complex in Phoenix, until retirement. She had eleven grand children. Dennis Wittum (Tammy), Allan Wittum ( Cindy), Michelle Huntoon (Ron), Terri Stauffer (Ron), Laurie Baywol (Roger), Dan Humphrey (Julie), Kim Raisley (Erin), Tamara Harrian (Bob), Tab Hockamier (Liz), Mason Hockamier and Sterling Hockamier. Rosemary had numerous great grand children, and great, great grandchildren. She belongs to the Arrowhead Baptist church in Arizona until she entered assisted Care. She will be remembered for her Christian Faith, love of family, and nurturing of beautiful flowers and love of good books. She loved to sing and could often be heard singing old favorites. Visitation will be held December 26, 2012 from 6-8pm at Sunland Mortuary in Sun City, AZ. Funeral service will be held December 27, 2012 at 10:00am at Sunland funeral home and Entombment following.
