Sears, Shirley Ann (Eddy)

Went to dance in heaven on December 17, 2012, at the age of 75. Shirley was born in Nashville TN in 1937 and was a resident of Phoenix, AZ for more 47 years. Shirley is survived by daughter Teresa (Henry), son Donnie, 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Shirley worked for Granada-Valencia elementary school for over 30 years. After retiring Shirley volunteered with parents anonymous and read stories to children at the local library. In her later years Shirley resided at Stratford House retirement community where she enjoyed time with her friends in Passages and taking care of her cat Lily and the community fish Blue. Shirley’s smile and laughter will be missed by everyone who knew her.
