The offensive line has allowed only 14 sacks, which ranks second in the Pac-12. Advantage: ASU had shown improvement but fell apart in last week’s win over UCLA. The punt- and kickoff-return teams gave up big plays. Easton Wahlstrom made a bad snap to punter Alex Garoutte, which resulted in a 21-yard loss. Complicating matters against UA: ASU is expected to be without Grice, its top kickoff returner. ASU’s longest punt return is 18 yards. Kicker Zane Gonzalez, however, continues to be a bright spot. He hasn’t missed a field-goal attempt since Sept. 21, a string of 15 in a row. … UA ranks ninth in the Pac-12 in kickoff returns (20.3 yards) and seventh in punt returns (7.9). Drew Riggleman ranks eighth in punting average at 40.3 yards. Jake Smith has made 12 of 18 field-goal attempts with a long of 53 yards. Advantage: UA.
