BOTTOM LINE

-

The Eagles were off last week, which is a benefit, especially this late in the season. And they are the first difficult road opponent the Cardinals have faced since playing the 49ers on Oct. 13. The Cardinals think they are starting to click on offense. That’s because they have a sense now of who they are. Coaches have adjusted and concentrated on running the ball effectively. The pass-protection schemes are smarter, too. For instance, left tackle Bradley Sowell is getting more help than before. The Eagles are a threepoint favorite, so let’s call this one a mild upset. Prediction: Cardinals 24, Eagles 21.
