EAGLES ON OFFENSE
The Eagles play at a high tempo, and that makes it more difficult for opponents to get sub packages on the field. The Cardinals, however, have enough versatility with their base defense that they should be able to handle it. Safety Tyrann Mathieu, for instance, can defend a slot receiver or play a traditional safety role. The faster pace might make it more difficult for the Cardinals to get certain players some rest, such as end Darnell Dockett. Perhaps that will show up late in the game. The Eagles are not exactly lighting up the scoreboard. They have won three consecutive games, but those wins have come against Oakland (4-8), Green Bay, which hasn’t won since Aaron Rodgers was hurt, and the Redskins (3-8). This is the best defense the Eagles have faced in more than a month. Edge: Cardinals.
