Bledsoe is back
When Bledsoe darted in front of a wing pass and pulled away for a two-hand slam off two feet, he came back to a timeout huddle smiling.
“My teammates were teasing me, saying I wasn’t hurt in the first place,” Bledsoe said.
Bledsoe showed no inhibitions about pushing himself in his first game action over two weeks, although he said the bruised left shin was still sore during the game. Hornacek frequently checked if Bledsoe needed to come out but thought that he played like he always does.
“When I’m playing, I just like to play my game,” Bledsoe said. “At the end of the day, I can’t worry about the injury. If I’m out there trying to play too passive and worrying about if I can make this move or that move, that’s how you end up getting hurt again.”
