Pirate show on Vegas Strip is canceled
LAS VEGAS — A seductive pirate show on the Strip that had been on hiatus through Christmas has been permanently called off.
A Treasure Island casino spokeswoman confirmed last week that “Sirens of TI” has been canceled, citing an ongoing project to build a shopping center there. She didn’t have details about the number of cast members affected or how they were notified of the closure.
The open-air show closed on Oct. 20 and had been set to resume its schedule of multiple nighttime performances on Thursday, Dec. 26.
“Sirens” earned a lackluster two-star review on the review website Yelp.com.
