Eslick, Theresa A. "Nancy"

85, of Mesa passed away on February 18, 2014. Theresa was born on September 16, 1928 in Early, Iowa to Elmer J. and Pearl (Struble) Eckerman. Nancy married Earl R. Eslick on March 29, 1948 in Early, Iowa. They were married for 49 years when Earl passed away on May 9, 1997. Together they enjoyed dancing and spending time during the summer at their cabins in the mountains. Nancy was a proud grandma and great grandma. She loved spending time with all of her grandchildren. She loved to cook and bake. Nancy was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church and enjoyed supporting her church. She will always be remembered as a generous person. Nancy is survived by her children; Patricia Howard (Larry), Janet Eslick, Tom Eslick (Kari), Steve Eslick (Denise), and Carol Eslick; siblings, Tom and Vivian; 12 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Earl R. Eslick; father, Elmer J. Eckerman; mother, Pearl Eckerman; siblings, Romane, Sidney, and Clair. A visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23 from 4-6pm at Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park and Funeral Care, 400 South Power Road, Mesa, Arizona 85206; with a Rosary following at 6pm. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 24 at 10am at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 1244 South Power Road, Mesa, Arizona 85206. Interment will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 1500 East Baseline Road, Mesa, Arizona 85204. Arrangements entrusted to Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park and Funeral Care.
