PERKINS-EPPERSON, Maggie Mae ROBINSON, Bernall Vaughn SAAS, Gordon L. SCHILE, Florence E. SCOTT, Barbara Ovens SHEPPARD, Stephen Gordon TREMBATH, Marjorie Joan age 91, passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2014. Irene, most recently a resident of Sunrise Senior Living, earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Pennsylvania in 1943, and then went on to obtain Masters degrees from Temple University, Columbia University and Arizona State University. Irene was a career officer in the U.S. Public Health Service from 1954 to 1984 when she retired with the rank of Captain. During her career she co-authored numerous research papers and articles and has appeared in Who’s Who In America for many years. Until recently Irene was active in the Arizona Chapters of the Business and Professional Women’s Association, the Military Officers Association of America and numerous other organizations. She was an avid gardener and in later life became involved in competitive dog events. She will be missed by all those who knew her. Irene will be laid to rest with her family at Calvary Cemetery in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania. Memorial contributions would be welcomed by the Wounded Warriors Project, P.O.
