A Merrill Lynch financial adviser, a former Honeywell executive, the executive chairman of a search-and-recruiting firm and an emergency medicine doctor are among the buyers and sellers in this week’s priciest home sales.

John Durham paid cash for a 4,587-square-foot house with pool built in 2011 on the west side of the Silverleaf Club in Scottsdale. Durham, an attorney and financial adviser, is senior vice president, wealth management for Merrill Lynch in Philadelph­ia. The house was sold by Scott DeGhetto, a managing director at Moelis & Co.’s Houston office. Moelis is an independen­t investment bank.

Christophe­r Branch paid cash for a 7,565-square-foot property with guest house and pool originally built in 1978 at Camelback Country Club Estates in Paradise Valley. The house was sold by Markos and Pamela Tambakeras through their trust. Markos Tambakeras is chair- man of the board of Xylem Inc. and also senior managing director of Madison Capital Partners, a Chicago-based private-equity firm. He also spent 19 years at Honeywell Internatio­nal, working in several senior management positions, including president. He is a member of several boards and is a member of the President’s Club at Arizona State University.

Paul Neely paid cash for 4,716square-foot house with pool built in 2001 at Crossing at the Boulders in Scottsdale. The house was sold by Susan Stuart through her family trust. Her husband, the late James Stuart Jr., was the former National Bank of Commerce CEO in Lincoln, Neb. The bank eventually became First Commerce Bancshares and was sold to Wells Fargo in 2000.

Using their trust, Robert and Eugenie Damon bought a new house on the west side of the Silverleaf Club in Scottsdale. Robert Damon is the executive chairman for the Americas at Korn/ Ferry Internatio­nal, a search and recruiting firm headquarte­red in Los Angeles. The house was sold by Thomas Kirk, as chief operations officer of Camelot Homes Inc. in Scottsdale.

Caroline Graeff, as manager of an Arizona limited liability company in Los Angeles, paid cash for a 5,971-square-foot house with pool built in 1998 on the north side of the Country Club at DC Ranch in Scottsdale. The house was sold by Dr. Edmundo Chantler, who practices emergency medicine in the Valley.
