Condes, Norma Cruz

Norma Cruz Condes, age 87, was called to heaven on Saturday, July 26, 2014, at her home in Chandler, AZ. She was born to the late Roberto and Urbana Cruz on November 1, 1926 in San Miguel, Bulacan, Philippines. She is one of nine siblings and is survived by her brother Alejandro Cruz and Carmelita Cruz Magbitang both of Bulacan, Philippines. Norma migrated to Concord, CA with her late husband, Alfonso Condes, in December 1986. Where she continued her work as a seamstress/tailor at Clothing Clearance in Pleasant Hill and Sabrina’s Formal Wear in Walnut Creek. In 2008 she relocated to Chandler, AZ. Norma is survived by her four children, Tess Condes of Chandler, AZ, Rizaldy Condes, Thelma Umali, and Evelyn Condes of Manila, Philippines. She was the loving and caring grandmother to her nine grandchildren, Rolynne Condes Gaza Manalac of Las Vegas, NV, Rizaldy Condes, Jr of Manila Philippines, Rizza Day Sphicas of San Ramon, CA, Christine Pangilinan of San Diego, CA, Eileen Soriano, Samantha Soriano, Alexandra Umali, Elise Condes, and Sophia Condes of Manila, Philippines. She loved each one of her nine great grandchildren, Rolyssa Manalac, Reanna Manalac, Bubba Manalac, Aleia Javier, George Sphicas, Mikko and Christian Pangilinan, Alfonse and Anakin Condes. Visitation will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 230 W. Galveston St., Chandler, AZ on Thursday, July 31, 2014 from 4:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m. immediately followed by The Liturgy of the Word. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 1, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. She will then be flown to Lafayette, CA to be laid to rest at Queen of Heaven Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Queen of Heaven Catholic Mortuary, Mesa, AZ.
