Tired of giving the same predictabl­e holiday gifts, ones your recipients can’t even recall a year later? If you have travelers on your list, here are some thoughtful travel-related gifts that won’t soon be forgotten. You won’t find cushy neck pillows, fuzzy socks or suitcase locks, those typical stocking stuffers that line the shelves leading to the checkout counter at T.J. Maxx every season.

Instead, here are creative travel gifts I have given, received, would be thrilled to receive or simply think are perfect for those with wanderlust. There’s something for every budget.

Photo souvenirs

Did you vacation with friends or family this year or drool over a friend’s social-media travel photos? Make a photo gift. This can be as simple as a collage from Walgreen’s, a photo on canvas from Costco or an elaborate photo book from Shutterfly or Mix Book.
