Charm you, then take a nap

- ASHLIEGH GOEBEL

Mips has everything going for her. She’s sophisticated, pretty, classy, and smart.

However, when her owner moved out of state, the Bombay cat found herself in the market for a new job so she can continue her career as someone’s personal assistant and forever friend.

The affectionate cat has many talents, but excels in cuddling and will hop on the couch, start kneading her paws, and purr all afternoon in your lap.

After eight years of research, this expert napper has come to the conclusion that dog’s beds are the most comfortable place to sleep, but she’ll make do with an empty box, a cat hammock, or a cat condo if need be.

If her impressive resume hasn’t perked your interest, you’ll be happy to know that Mips also works well with others (dogs, cats and kids), and serves as an excellent paperweight when you are working in the home office.

She’s is litter box trained, and makes good use of a sisal scratching post.

Meet Mips Sunday at noon at the Arizona Humane Society’s Petique at The Shops at Norterra, 2450 W. Happy Valley Road in Phoenix.

Her adoption fee is $50 and includes her spay surgery and vaccinations. For more information call 602-761-2973.

Previous Pet: Lieberman, the Doberman Pinscher, is waiting for a home at the Campus for Compassion, 1521 W. Dobbins Road.
