Dizon, 78, passed away in Peoria on March 26, 2017. Carmen was born in Bautista, Pangasinan, Philippines to Edy and Helen Aribon on December 27, 1938. She was the School Nurse at Colegio San Augustin in Makati Philippines, where she concurrently pursued her Masters Degree in Nursing at the Philippines Women’s College. When she immigrated to the U.S. she worked as a Staff Nurse at the Carl T. Hayden VA Medical Center, where she retired. After retiring she later went back to work as a School Nurse for Pendergrast Elementary School as well as a school district in the City of Phoenix. Carmen was preceded in death by her parents and son John Christopher (Toti) Dizon. She leaves behind her loving husband of 57 years Jay Joe Dizon, children; Gigi (Shawn) McQuown, Jojo (Gilda) Dizon, Jackie (Gary) Ng, and Joni Dizon-Seargeant. As well as her grandchildren; Riley, Pilar, Sam, Kaila, Kai, Bobby Joe, Christopher, Cara Jo and Lindsay, great grandchildren; Isaiah, Sophia, Laila and Ava. Carmen will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Family and friends are invited to attend visitation for Carmen from 5-9pm with a Vigil at 7pm on Friday, March 31, 2017 at Heritage Funeral Chapel, 6830 W. Thunderbird Rd., Peoria. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at St. Helens Catholic Church, 5510 W. Cholla St., Glendale with committal to follow at Holy Redeemer Cemetery, 23015 Cave Creek Rd., Phoenix. Please offer condolences at www.herit agefuneralchapels.com.
