Firefighters at least live in Arizona and care about it

-

Regarding your article on money pumped into local elections by Arizona firefighters — our public servants:

At least these firefighters live and work in Arizona and know the state and its issues. How about doing a story on the money pumped into electing Doug Ducey by the Koch Brothers, who don’t live here but want to foist their anti-public education, and failed economic and elitist values on us. This, despite their proven record for dismal failure in all studies.

Why doesn’t on that? The Republic do a story — Jackie Young, Phoenix

Kiss up to Elizabeth Warren and expose your obvious liberal bias

If I were trying to convince a jury of the bias found in newspapers, today’s USA Today section would be all the evidence I would need: a fawning article on Elizabeth Warren’s new book and her “fearless” defense against that horrible Trump.

After submitting that section of today’s paper, I would rest my case. I guess nothing happened anywhere else in the world, e.g. Afghanistan, Syria, forest fires in Florida or any other of the thousands of places on this earth.

No, Elizabeth Warren’s book is big news.

Very sad! — Robert Little, Sedona

Robb defended Ducey on schools; he should have called him out
