McCain’s performance at hearing shows the need for term limits

While I do not have a solution for the problem with wrong-way drivers in metro Phoenix, I have an idea about why they occur at eye-widening frequency.

Our road system, while beautifully and immaculately designed, lacks one element that all software engineers know:

Phoenix freeway entrances/exits do not seem to allow for a margin of human error. They are too perfect.

Software/application engineers will tell you that their job is to save us users from ourselves.

These geniuses have to anticipate every dumb thing we could do on an application and then fix it on the backside so that when we do that one dumb thing, we are spared the consequences that would have befallen us.

That is modern engineering at its best: that which takes the most stupid, unpredictable human behavior into account when building solutions into the end design.

Metro Phoenix’s impeccably designed, notable roadways seem to fall short in simply allowing for our imperfect human behavior.

Police records request backlog is simply a matter of prioritization

There is a quick fix for the backlog of police records quests. I am willing to bet that if the police payroll was backed up 18 months and they didn’t get their checks, they would have a solution pretty darn quick. It’s a matter of priority. Obviously, serving the public isn’t very high on the department’s list. In addition, the idea of utilizing a highly paid detective to redact a report makes me want to cry.

With efficiency like this, it’s no wonder they have problems. I would be happy to volunteer my services as an operations manager to the department to get them organized.

Is Sen. John McCain past his prime? How could he think there is a “double standard” between the investigation of Secretary of State Clinton using a private email server during her tenure and the ongoing investigation of President Trump’s campaign and the Russians.

They are two totally separate issues that occurred at totally two separate times. They are not related!

It was almost embarrassing that he continued to belabor that. Was that some kind of a political posturing. Really, it’s time for term limits!

Will the grandfather clock in the White House skedaddle away?

On Feb. 14, 2017, then-FBI Director James Comey met one on one with President Trump in the Oval Office. In order to authenticate the conversation regarding

I see there is a current movement by some to remove Confederate monuments like the movement some years ago to remove Christian and Jewish monuments.

For example, there was the forced removal of the cross from the chapel at Arizona State University. Then there was the effort to remove that giant cross in California.

Then there were the attacks against the Ten Commandments monuments
