Ackman Jr., James R. Ames, Mary

85 of Glendale, AZ, passed away on June 23, 2017. He was born in Vincennes, IN moving to AZ in 1936 as a small child with his family. He graduated from Litchfield High School, was president of AZ Boys State, served in the Air Force, attended ASU and retired from Reynolds Aluminum and Air Research. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Patty and son Jeff (Tina) Ackman. He is survived by his wife of 66 years Ginger, 2 daughters Karen (Joel) Sell and Kim (Kurt) Miller, 11 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Services pending with final internment at the AZ Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery. Mary Ames, 98, of Scottsdale, died Monday, June 26, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Reede Maugham Ames. Mrs. Ames is survived by her sons; Anthony, of Atlanta, Ga. and Steven, of Annapolis, Md., five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was active in Scottsdale Bible Church, and was devoted to her two sons. A Memorial Services will be held at 11 am, Friday, June 30, 2017, at Scottsdale Bible Chapel. 7601 E.
