El Hefe Tempe

-

Mill Avenue’s hip brewery is ultra cyclistfriendly with ample bike racks. Pedal Haus went through a remodel and expansion in 2016, with bungalows and fire pits added to the spacious 6,000square-foot outdoor beer garden. The patio surrounds the perimeter of the restaurant, with games like ping pong, cornhole and ladder ball. Look for more than 20 beers on tap, or try one of the signature cocktails. Happy hour runs from 3 to 6:30 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays.

Postino Annex

Casey’s is special for three reasons: An awesome wrap-around patio, a haunted legend and Jimmy Eat World-inspired fame. You’ll find patrons of all ages and walks of life here in a laid-back atmosphere that encourages strangers to become drinking buddies. As the name suggests, you can enjoy oysters fried, Rockefeller, in a shooter or on a half shell.

El Hefe is a lively restaurant by day and party spot by night. Because Thursdays are the typical college night out, the place hosts #BossThursdays with music from DJ Diesel. The bar is known for its Loaded Cerveza (a shot of Bacardi lime rum in any beer), beer-garitas and signature margaritas. Happy hour runs from 3 to 7 p.m. weekdays.
