Richard Krajewski, 77, of Peoria, Arizona, passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning, August 23, 2017, while surrounded by family and holding the hand of his beloved grandson, Jaren. Richard was born in Detroit, Michigan to Edward and Josephine Krajewski. Richard was affectionately known as the gentle giant. He was a very kind and humble family man. He would often conduct random acts of kindness. Richard retired from Chrysler and then later retired from Palo Verde as a machinist. In his spare time, he loved to work with his hands and build beautiful things from wood. Richard loved spending time with his grandchildren and will be truly missed by all who loved him. Richard is survived by his wife, Cheryl Krajewski, his daughter, Claudia Newdigate, his sons, Rick Krajewski (Tina) and Bill, his sister, Sandra Karolinski, his brother, Clifford Krajewski (Sue), and his grandchildren, Jeremy, Jaren, Ricky and Stephanie. Richard was preceded in death by his loving parents, Edward and Josephine Krajewski, his brother, Donald, and his granddaughters Amanda and Kaitlan. Rest peacefully in paradise, Richard! A Visitation will be held from 1:30-4:30pm Sunday, August 27, 2017 followed by a Funeral Service the next day, Monday, August 28, 2017 at Heritage Funeral Chapel, 6830 W. Thunderbird Rd., Peoria.
