Lopez, Alex

-

Beloved son, brother, cousin, uncle, and friend passed away unexpectedly at home. Born in California and raised in Phoenix, Alex spent most of his life in the same S. Phoenix home he loved. At an early age, Alex left schools to work distinguishing himself for his work ethic, outgoing nature, and positive can do attitude. Never one to shy away from a challenge, Alex was always volunteering to help friends, family and acquaintances with repairs. He never met a stranger and was always the first to deliver a warm welcome, greeting, or congratulations. Never empty handed when he visited, he will be missed for his generosity, kind soul, and ability to brighten your day. The last couple of decades Alex was known locally as a beer vendor for all local sports teams, concerts, and spring training. His loud and infectious laugh could be heard through-out the stadium and TV / radio broadcast. Thousands of fans and visitors enjoyed Alex’s warm welcome, colorful personality (and attire) and many took home his trade mark "Beer Me" hats. Alex is survived by his father, 2 brothers, 2 sisters and a large loving extended family of cousins, in-laws, nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death are his mother and sister, where he laughs again. In Lieu of flowers, please share Alex’s spirit and share and smile and loud, hearty laugh. A memorial service will be held on August 27th at 3pm, please contact his sister Olivia for details at 602-758-1519.
