2017 at her home in Scottsdale, Arizona surrounded by her loving family just as she had wanted. She was born on November 30, 1931 in Ashmore, Illinois to Dorothy Helen (Lovelass) Robinson and Benjamin Dwight Robinson. Barbara was one of seven siblings who grew up on a farm Kansas, Illinois, where her family taught the values of a strong work ethic and Biblical values. She was gifted with a beautiful singing voice that she put to use every Sunday in the church choir. She graduated from Kansas High School in 1949 and then from University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Science in Music Education in 1954. She was an active member of the Delta Gamma Sorority. Soon after graduation she landed her first big job flying the friendly skies as a stewardess with United Airlines. She was always proud to say that she was on the first interconti­nental flight out of Chicago O’Hare Internatio­nal. She married Talbot Parker Forbes in Chicago in 1957. They moved to Denver, Colorado in 1968 to raise their four children while working in real estate. She left for warmer weather and a better life in Scottsdale, Arizona where she worked out the rest of her career in property management and finished raising her children on her own. She met and married Robert Louis Seymour in 1991. They enjoyed 25 years of marriage traveling the world, having coffee with their friends at the mall and playing with their beloved dogs Misty first and then Benji. Barbara loved working in her yard, growing and receiving flowers, doing home projects, going to the gym three days a week for over 30 years and spending quality time with her family. She is survived by her husband Robert Seymour, five children Patty Rhodes (Jeff), Susan Pappas (John), Robin Bramman (Eric), Michael Forbes (Julie), stepson Scott Seymour (Joanne) and five grandchild­ren Allison, Adam, Kyle, Kasey and Justin. Also surviving siblings are Betty Jo Campbell, Ruthann Shurts, Dwight Robinson and was preceded in death by Jean Turner, Howard Robinson and Wayne Robinson. A Celebratio­n of Life for Barbara is being held on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Messingers Mortuary 7601 East Indian School Road, Scottsdale, AZ85251 at 11:00 a.m. A lunch reception will be held immediatel­y following. Antoinette M. Hengy, of Tempe, AZ died August 13, 2017 in Goodyear, AZ. She was born May 8, 1943 in Detroit, MI to Francis (Sam) and Margaret Hengy. Ann was raised in Detroit, moved to Fairview, MI and then to Arizona, living and working in Tucson, Tempe, and Goodyear. She joins her parents and five siblings, Jean, Larry, Joe, Fritz, and Theresa in heaven. Her twin sister, Mary Janet Petty, of Tempe, AZ and her younger brother John Hengy, of Fairview, survive her. Ann touched many lives with her generous and loving heart, including 27 nieces and nephews. Two nieces especially, Susan Petty of Goodyear, AZ and AnnMarie Edwards of Sacramento, CA made her last year full of love and laughter. He and his wife Joyce moved to Scottsdale in 1986. He is survived by his daughter Irene. He was preceded in death by his wife Joyce and son John. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 11:00 am at Paradise Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, 9300 East Shea Blvd., Scottsdale. She had genuine affection for people everywhere she lived, and enjoyed the beach, music, and dance. She is survived by her children, Jerry and Judy, 9 of her 10 grandchild­ren, and her 31 great-grandchild­ren. Robert Jue, 68, passed away on August 28, 2017. He was born on December 17, 1948 in Winslow, AZ to Bing Yee and Rose Wong Jue. He moved to Casa Grande two years ago. Robert grew up in Winslow, AZ. He graduated from Winslow High School in 1967. He attended Grand Canyon College, Phoenix College and the Gila River Career Center Trade School for refrigerat­ion. He was a communicat­ions specialist, field wireman in the U.S. Army serving in Vietnam from 1968-70. He worked for the Atchison Topeka & Santa Fe Railway, American Express and owned and managed several businesses in Winslow including Kachina Refrigerat­ion and Heating, All Purpose Foam Roofing, Kachina Market & Joe’s Café and worked as an electricia­n and lead man for several electrical companies in the Phoenix area. Robert was a member of the Veterans from Foreign Wars (VFW), a life member of the National Rifle Associatio­n and rode with the Patriot Guard Riders. He loved hunting, fishing, cars, casinos and playing Mah Jongg. He is survived by his mother, Rose of Casa Grande, sisters Kathy of Casa Grande and Betty (Phil) of Scottsdale, daughter Jasmine of Sacramento, California and his nieces Courtney (Adam) and Heather and nephew Brad and lots of cousins and their families and other relatives. Robert was preceded in death by his father, Bing Yee Jue, and brother Frank Jue. A celebratio­n of life service will be held at Green Acres Mortuary & Cemetery, 401 N. Hayden Road, Scottsdale at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017. Kennell, age 90, of Surprise, AZ, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family on September 2, 2017. Jim, as he was known by all, was born in Kendallvil­le, IN on May 31, 1927. After graduating from Flint Technical High School in Michigan, Jim served in the Army during WWII as an auto mechanic. Upon returning to the U.S. from his deployment in Europe, Jim was employed by the city of Flint, MI in the water department. He retired as the water distributi­on supervisor after 37 years of service. Jim married Shirley Ann Smith on April 15, 1950. They enjoyed 67 years of marriage and had 3 children. After retirement, Jim and Shirley enjoyed several years of traveling all over the world with friends and family. They very much enjoyed living the snow bird lifestyle between Arizona and Michigan, relocating permanentl­y to Surprise, AZ in 2003. Jim was preceded in death by his oldest son, James E. Kennell; sister, Martha D. Buck; son-in-law, Jeffery Hynes; and brother-in-law, Robert Kupisch. Jim is survived by his wife, Shirley; son, Steven M. Kennell (Susie); daughter, Sharon K. Hynes-Michael (Scott); daughter-in-law, Karen S. Kennell; sister, Patricia Kupisch; 10 grandchild­ren, 12 great grandchild­ren, and several nieces, nephews, and close friends.
