Willard “Chuck” Oakley

PHOENIX – 11/23/1936 - 5/8/2018 Chuck was born at his home in Audubon, Iowa and baptized as a member of First Presbyteri­an Church. He graduated from Audubon High, then joined the Air Force. After traveling around the world during his 8 years of service, he attended the Air Force Tech School in Denver, Colorado. After graduation, he moved to Arizona and accepted employment as a field computer tech at General Electric. He then married his wife Donna on February 14, 1976 and became step-father to her sons Keith (Jodi) and Kevin (Rosa). Later he became a Grandfathe­r(3) & Great Grandfathe­r(2).

Chuck is preceded in death by his wife of 38 years, Donna, his parents, Willard and Lula Oakley, his sister, Lenore Stiles LaFoy, Brother in-laws, Forest LaFoy, Richard Campbell, Russell Stiles, Dean Cramer, and his niece Susan Cramer O’Brian. He is survived, by his sisters, Loretta Campbell of Audubon, Iowa, and Donna Cramer of Iowa City in addition to the many nieces and nephews, Mike (Debra) Stiles, Mary Jo (Mike) Krauel, Kathy (Gene) Thomsen, Jane (David) Phalen, Linda (Kent) Gaulter, David Campbell, Denise (Jerry) Keep, Brian (Jeanne) Cramer, and Lisa (Brian) Edeker.

Chuck will be interred, and join his wife at the National Memorial Cemetery Of Arizona and rest in peace together in heaven. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Hospice Of The Valley, at www.HOV.org
