If Palestinians acknowledged Israel’s right to exist, there’d be peace tomorrow. If Palestinians didn’t teach their children that Israel was the devil, there’d be peace tomorrow. If Palestinians didn’t pay $ to the families of suicide bombers, there’d be peace tomorrow. Ok?

Before enslavement Africans were called “apes.” Before the Holocaust Jewish people were called “rats.” Before the Rwandan genocide Tutsis were called “cockroaches.” Calling undocumented people “animals” as the president just did is gravely serious. It’s not just an offensive word.

7 years ago Endeavour soared into space one last time. As Commander of its final mission, I’m forever indebted to the crew and engineers who made it all possible. She was one hell of a spaceship.

This weekend, I had the pleasure of traveling to the beautiful hills outside Sedona, Arizona and spending time with John and Cindy McCain on their back porch. I shared my gratitude – all of our gratitude – for his service and his sacrifice.
THEY SAID IT
“Now the #Resistance is saddled with the collapsing credibility of major progressive cultural institutions.” — David French National Review
“I also have experienced the destructive impact of borders more personally. I was born in 1984, two years after Israel withdrew from the Sinai Peninsula, dividing my city, Rafah, between Gaza and Egypt. The core of the city was razed by Israel and Egypt to create a buffer zone, separating families, including mine, with barbed wire. My mother’s family lived on the Egyptian side and Rafah’s division ended in the separation of my parents. Although my mother lived a stone’s throw away, it was 19 years before I saw her again.” — Ahmed Abu Artema The New York Times
