Media bash Trump, but went soft on Obama

- Leon Ceniceros, Mesa Bobbie Bookhout, Tempe Walter Crites, Prescott Valley Susan Taylor, Glendale

Don’t you just love seeing Carl Bernstein, and others on CNN and MSNBC screaming to the heavens that Trump’s Affairs are “worse than Watergate.”

Now I ask you, what American will suffer financially from Trump’s affairs?

President Obama lied to the American people about Obamacare when he said “If you like your health care, you can keep your health care. If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor.”

These lies did hurt Americans financially.

President Obama knew Americans would lose their doctors and their health-care plans, yet for over a year he repeated these lies, over and over again at Democratic campaign rallies, at press conferences, from the Oval Office, the Rose Garden and the White House cabinet room.

Did the liberal press go after President Obama? We all know the answer. The left-wing media perpetuated Obama’s lies by never questioning them.

Republicans need to start putting country before party

Pardon me for not understanding why Republicans aren’t speaking out about the guilty verdicts of Michael Cohen. That lawyer conspired with an “unnamed co-conspirator” to pay off women’s alleged affairs to control negative press and affect the outcome of the 2016 election.

Michael Cohen has tales to tell and is not asking for a pardon.

Pardon me for not understanding how Manafort is a “good man” when a jury of his peers found him guilty on eight counts. Yet to be explained are his connections with Russia and negotiations for a Trump tower in Moscow. Pardon us for not understanding why there’s no congressional response.

Republicans should speak up and speak out, put country first and party second. Would they accept a Manafort pardon of his convictions and why? Call, write or email and ask them.

This veteran absolutely loves the care he got in 2 VA facilities

Recently I became ill and had my wife take me to the Veterans Administration medical facility emergency room in Prescott.

I was immediately placed in an examination room and cared for diligently by the medical staff. They determined that I had Arterial Fibrillation, and suspected that I had had a heart episode they could not adequately address, and arranged to transport me to the Phoenix VA Health Care facility.

When I arrived in Phoenix the cardiology team immediately attended to my needs and attempted to determine the cause of my discomfort. While there I had sever angina, which was addressed on the spot.

After further examination, I was scheduled the next day to have an angiogram, and if necessary a stent implant. The angiogram proved that I indeed had suffered a heart attack, and I went directly into the operating room for heart angioplasty stent implantation, which went without incident.

Within 24 hours I was in two different Arizona VA medical facilities and received immediate and superlative care from both. After a day’s recuperation, I was discharged home with complete instruction for further care, and follow up. I am one happy and satisfied veteran.

Republican leaders will sleep better if they call out Trump

A letter to Republicans members of Congress:

How long will you continue to remain silent? How long does the list have to be? When will you call out Mr. Trump on his unpresidential behavior? Will you wait until he initiates an unnecessary military conflict or some other inappropriate measure as a distraction?

Make it clear that you support the investigation.

Stand up when he attacks people. Call him out when he lies. Perhaps you will rest better at night.
