Wayne Daniel
PHOENIX – Wayne Daniel, 75, passed away July 7. Born Aug. 19, 1942, in Springerville, Arizona, to Olen Burgess Daniel and Helen Madge (Rice) Daniel, Wayne grew up in Kansas and Missouri, graduating from Valley Center High School, Kansas, in 1960 and Kansas State University in 1965. After living for 13 years in Denver, Wayne moved to Phoenix in 1983. By profession an accountant, Wayne’s real passion was music, and he sang or led choirs in several Valley churches. He is survived by his son, Clifford (Odette) Daniel, and grandchildren Koren Andres, Nicholas Meyers and Maxwell Daniel. He wanted everyone to know that he tried to do his best. A celebration of Wayne’s life, including the sale of some of his original artwork, will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, October 27, at West Valley Unitarian Universalist Church, 5904 W. Cholla St., Glendale, AZ 85304.
