Russell C. Burner
PEORIA – Russell C. Burner passed away on Monday, September 3, 2018 at his home in Peoria, Arizona. Russell was born on 2/13/43 in Cleveland Ohio to the late Richard & Ethel Burner. The family moved to Litchfield Park, Arizona in 1948 and subsequently settled in west Phoenix. He graduated from from Carl Hayden High School in 1961. A retired Teamster, he loved hunting, fishing, and vacationing in the White Mountains of Arizona with his family where he met his bride in the summer of 1961.
Russell is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Linda Marie (Frye), sons Coit (Valerie), Barry (Heather), and Will (Heather), grandchildren Ryan, Morgan, Jackson, Ellie, step-grandson Darien, and step-great grandson Karsen, brother and sister-in-law Glenn & Cathey Burner of Louisiana, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Ruthe.
