Charles Earl Norwood

PHOENIX – Charles Earl (Chuck) Norwood entered into rest on Saturday, October 6th, 2018. He was 88 years young, born on October 5th, 1930 to Earl Norwood and Irene Norwood Simpson in South Bend, Indiana, the youngest of 4 children.

He is preceded in Death by his Parents, Sisters Kathryn, Eileen, and Dorothy, and his Son, William (Bill) Norwood. He is survived by his loving wife Dorothy of 65 years, his Children James, Richard, Mark, Kevin, Shirley Hoyle, 13 Grandchildren, and many Great Grandchildren. Charles has been a resident of Arizona since 1959 when he moved to the Phoenix area from Chicago. He predominately resided in Tempe and worked for Motorola in Phoenix, Mesa, and Tempe Facilities for 33 years, retiring in 1992. He enjoyed woodworking, photography, fishing, camping, and the outdoors.
