PHOENIX – (Ahwatukee) Passed away on October 12, 2018. A celebratio­n of Marian’s life will be held at 10:30AM Friday, November 3rd, at Mountain View Lutheran Church, 11002 S. 48th St. Phoenix, followed by refereshme­nts at the church. Marian was born Nov. 3, 1929, in Wichita, KS and grew up in Topeka. She attended Washburn University where she met her husband, James Bell. They moved the family to Tempe in 1966 and became ardent fans of all ASU sports and the ASU community.

After retiring in Awhatukee Marian enjoyed making furniture, joined the Saguaro Strippers Quilting Club, the Square Dance Club and the Golf Club. Marian & Jim visited all 50 states in their motorhome and spent summers in Show Low.

Marian is survived by 4 daughters, Peggy Kinner, Becky Field (Stan) Kathy Jerik and Kristy Bell (Brett); 4 grandchild­ren, Shawn Kinner, Jessica Guenther (Eric), Payton Marovich and Austin Jerik; 3 great grandchild­ren, and her sister Janet Evans of Scottsdale. Marian was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, James Bell.
