PHOENIX – Betty passed away at home, in the early hours of September 27, 2018. She was a second generation native Arizonan, born March 7, 1925, in Phoenix. Betty attended Longview Elementry & North Phoenix High School.

She retired after more than 20 years as school secretary at Rio Vista Grade School, in Roosevelt School District.

Betty enjoyed reading, crocheting, quilting, and needlework, she was also an accomplish­ed seamstress.

She was predecease­d by her husband, John, who passed away just one week shy of their 59th wedding anniversar­y.

Betty is survived by her sister, Darnell; her daughter, Jeniece Null; sons, Tom (Carolyn), and Mike (Barbara). She is also survived by 5 grand children, 7 great grand children, 3 great great grand children , and large extended family. She will be missed by many.

According to Betty’s wishes, there will be no service. please make donations, in her name, to Hospice of the Valley.
