PHOENIX – Nancy Austin, 83, passed away Wednesday November 7th. She enjoyed her cousins in Wisconsin, and her friends of more than 50 Years in Phoenix. She loved lunching with her friends, travel, as well as any good adventure. Most recently she drove across Mexico and around New Mexico with her dear friend Gloria, and then all over Florida with her daughter Penny. Over the past 15 years she lived with her daughter Tammy and her granddaughter Amaya, who she enjoyed participating in every way that a grandma might. Nancy attended with great pride every performance, award ceremony and gig over all of these years. Often time her friends came out and joined her. She was preceded in death by her husband Reed who passed February 1999. She is survived by her children Penny and Tammy and her grandchildren Drew, Sabrina and Amaya all of whom she loved unconditionally and enjoyed participating in their lives. Nancy owned various hotel gift shops in Phoenix and had fun buying and managing, as these businesses thrived. She lived in Village Meadows when she, Reed and their kids moved to Phoenix. She made many lifelong friends who continued to celebrate by gathering to play bunco or just have lunch. Nancy adored both her friends and family to include cousins still back in Wisconsin. A visitation will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday November 20th followed by the service at 2:30. Please sign the online guestbook at www. phoenixmemorialmortuary.com.
