PHOENIX – It is with great sadness that the family of Toni Gail Shavonis announces her passing on November 8, 2018, at the age of 44. She was called to heaven while asleep at her home.

Toni leaves behind her pride and joy, her three amazing children, Shelby Gail Hammock, Colton Dean Shavonis, Kimberly Rae Ann Shavonis and son-in-law Calvin Hammock. She is survived by her loving parents Jerry and Carolyn Culwell; sister Kimberly Wheeler and brother-in-law Therman Wheeler; brother JR Culwell and sister-in-law Dawn Culwell; her fiancée and best friend Dave Gibbs; nephews Ross Wheeler, Ty Wheeler, Connor Culwell; niece Cailee Culwell; and aunt Sharon Richards.

Born in Jal, New Mexico on February 10, 1974. She was a Registered Nurse and loved caring for others for over 27 years. Her personalit­y and sense of humor made her larger than life. She spent most of her life in the Phoenix and Flagstaff areas.

She loved her family, dogs aka ‘babies’, arts and crafts, camping, hiking, gardening, and football. She was made for more than this life and will be remembered for her compassion and caring for others. She was one of kind and will ALWAYS be remembered.

The celebratio­n of life services will be held at a later date. The viewing/visitation services were held privately for the family on Sunday, November 11, 2018.
