Woman found dead in Phoenix house fire

A woman died in a house fire Saturday, officials said.

The Phoenix Fire Department responded to a “well-involved” house fire near 15th Avenue and Broadway Road, according to department spokesman Capt. Danny Gile.

Gile said a woman was found dead inside the home. Two other people were able to safely escape the blaze.
