Daniel Cruz

TEMPE – Daniel Cruz born September 1, 1954 in Tempe AZ, beloved husband of Winona E. (Sue) Cruz, passed away on January 9, 2019 at the age of 64 due to vascular dementia. Loving father to his children Aimee and Nathaniel, and step-son Raymond White. Daniel lived a life that began with many firsts, as the oldest child to Guadalupe T. and Rose Cruz, and the first grandchild on maternal side of family and first to be married of siblings. He led a life that including serving his creator Jehovah, baptized as one his dedicated servants in 1964, lived a life surrounded by loving family members that he embraced and allowed him to have a very happy family life. He is survived by his children Aimee (Brian) Hance, son Nathan (Tram) Cruz and three adored grandchildren. Siblings John, David Cruz and Cecilia (Daniel) Ballesteros; predeceased by both parents, brother Stephen (Jessie) Cruz and stepson Raymond White. Additionally, he is survived by uncles, aunts and cousins too numerous to mention. He requested no formal services, however the family will be having private services at his request, to spread his ashes at South Mountain on February 9, 2019, 2-6 pm, followed by a meal.
