Kathleen Marie Brennan

APACHE JUNCTION – Kathleen completed her journey “home” to God on January 28, 2019. Kathleen was born in Oceanside, NY to Anna Marie (O’Rourke) Morrison and Michael “Mickey” Finbar Morrison on May 18, 1935. Kathleen had one sibling, her younger sister Jane. Kathleen grew up in Oceanside and it was there at a dance that she met the love of her life, Francis “Frank” Brennan who was a Master Sergeant in the Army. Kathleen and Frank were married on her birthday, May 18, 1957, and their journey began, moving from one Army post to another until finally ending up at Fort Huachuca, Arizona. Since Frank had his 20 years in, and he and Kathleen had come to love Arizona, they moved to Mesa in Jan 1969. Kathleen found work at the State Farm Insurance regional office and after a long and productive career she retired along with Frank so that they could travel and enjoy their Golden Years together. Kathleen had a great love for her Irish roots and they made numerous trips to the “Old Country” to visit relatives and get in touch with her heritage. Kathleen was preceded in death by her sister Jane and husband Frank. Our sorrow at our loss is over-shadowed by the joy she is now experiencing being rejoined with her soulmate and one true love who she dearly missed every day since his passing in 2003. Kathleen is survived by her children and grandchildren; daughter Bridget (Dave) Endres; grandsons Ryan and Casey, her son Michael; her son Sean (Roberta), grandsons, Connor and Dylan. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 5, 2019 from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at St. George Catholic Church, 300 E. 16th Ave., Apache Junction, AZ 85219 with Rosary recited at 10:00 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, 1562 E.
