“We have an incredible coaching staff at Chandler High, so it’s easy to have faith in everyone and what they’re doing with the athletes,” Lincoln said. “It’s all about the process throughout the season, believe and trust that all the hard work you’re doing will pay off when it matters.

“There were a couple of key injuries that could have really hurt us this year, but we had kids step up to help us out. We expect a lot from our student-athletes on and off the track. We work them really hard at Chandler. I think those expectations and the mental toughness they gain from all that we do is what helps them execute when it matters. That’s what happened this year. It was a fantastic effort from everyone across the board.” Lincoln, Chandler
