Celebrate LGBT Pride Month around Phoenix

June is LGBT Pride Month to remember the Stonewall Riots from late June 1969 and the impact LGBT people have had in history. Here are some events to commemorat­e the special month around Phoenix.

6/12 and 6/26: Melrose Toastmaste­rs

Find supportive learning experience­s with members looking to gain communicat­ion and leadership skills with Arizona’s first LGBT+ and Friends Toastmaste­rs club. Meetings are held on the second and fourth Wednesday of every month. Don’t be late.

6/13: Queer Me Out at W Scottsdale

Learn about the latest hot-button topics for the LGBT community at Queer Me Out, a global speaker series that features live Q&A panels with LGBT members of the design, art, music and philanthro­py communitie­s. Panelists like Mister Phoenix Pride’s Jericho Galindo will share personal stories to inform and inspire audiences. Socialize with attendees at the end of the night with a cocktail party, live music and a NOH8 photoshoot.

6/14: Pride Night with Phoenix Mercury

Watch the Phoenix Mercury WNBA team face off against the Los Angeles Sparks to celebrate Pride Month. Thanks to Coors Light, each guest with a ticket in the lower bowl will get a PRIDE Night placard.

6/14: One Night Only at Phoenix Art Museum

6/17: History Undergroun­d: Gay History edition

Come to Valley Bar and join Phoenix Pride’s Arizona LGBT+ history project manager Marshall Shore for an evening about LGBTQ Arizona history with Fierce Friends of Phoenix.

See the Arizona Diamondbac­ks take on the San Francisco Giants for Pride Night at Chase Field. Guests need to buy the Pride Pack to get a game ticket and a 3/4 sleeve D-Backs Pride t-shirt. Cap off the night with a post-game fireworks show.
