Brunch lovers better get ready because Phoenix’s Arcadia neighborhood soon will be home to a fourth Valley location of Hash Kitchen. The highly anticipated restaurant will serve breakfast, brunch and lunch including French toast, waffles, sandwiches and salads. The restaurant opens Wednesday, June 12.

Hash Kitchen, which comes from the locally based Maggiore Group, also is known for claiming to offer the largest Bloody Mary bar in Arizona. And with the new location, owner Joey Maggiore hopes to up the ante.

“This is going to be our biggest Bloody Mary bar yet,” Maggiore says. “We’re going to be able to fit 100 items.”

What to expect at the Bloody Mary bar

At all Hash Kitchen restaurants, customers can pay $13 to take a trip to the restaurant’s build-your-own Bloody Mary bar. Customers can choose a salt rim topping and type of tomato juice, as well as a base vodka. Options include infused varieties in flavors such as bacon, cucumber, pepper and cilantro lime.

Then, guests can go one time around the topping bar, which offers “every olive you can imagine,” Maggiore says. Beyond the usual suspects like bacon and celery, the topping bar also offers items like pickled eggs, fried ravioli, sardines and hush puppies.

“You can make it as want,” Maggiore says.

According to the owner, the Bloody Mary bar at Hash Kitchen in Arcadia not only will offer a wider variety of toppings than other locations, but also will be longer — by 5 feet — than the bars at other Hash Kitchen locations.

With the extra space, Maggiore says the restaurant will be able to offer 40 more topping options.

Other beverage options include slushies made with spiced rum that arrive in disco balls topped with handspun cotton candy; flights of “cereal shooters” made with spirits, coconut milk and flavors such as Fruity Pebbles and Captain Crunch; and coffee cocktails including cappuccino and coffee liqueur served in an ice cream cone.

Specialty mimosas round out the list including an oversize mimosa made with strawberry boba, strawberry puree and prosecco.

Maggiore says bringing Hash Kitchen to the Arcadia neighborhood has been a goal for the company for some time.

“The people in this area love mimosas and we want to give them the best ones possible,” he says.
