Camp confidential: Quarterback Kyler Murray’s first play of the Red and White Practice? A quick pass out to fellow rookie KeeSean Johnson. Murray showcased his dual abilities Saturday throughout the team’s intrasquad scrimmage, but there’s still work to be done . ... Cornerback Patrick Peterson was recognized ahead of the practice for his Pro Bowl selection last season. Peterson was the only Cardinal picked. It was his eighth selection, as he has made the Pro Bowl in each of his eight seasons. ... It was a mixed bag for Zane Gonzalez, the only kicker on the Cardinals roster. He missed multiple times once he was kicking from 43 yards or deeper, but he did make a 45 yarder toward the end of the scrimmage to round it out . ... Rookie safety Deionte Thompson ended the practice with a highlight of his own. He picked off quarterback Drew Anderson and ran it all the way back, with a few defensive starters sprinting off the sidelines to meet him in the endzone to celebrate.

Injury report: WR Andy Isabella (knee), OLB Brooks Reed (lowerbody injury) S D.J Swearinger (soft tissue injury) and DT Vincent Valentine (leg/knee) are day-to-day. TE Charles Clay (knee), G Max Garcia (knee) and CB Brandon Williams (back) remain on the physically unable to perform list. ILB Haason Reddick (knee) is out for two to three more weeks.
