CAMPING OUT

Camp confidential: The Cardinals have a competition at wide receiver, and it seems they're not afraid to add pressure to that by mixing in another candidate. On Monday, they brought in veteran Michael Crabtree, although initial reports indicated the Cardinals would sign the receiver, that ultimately didn’t happen. Crabtree, 31, appeared in all 16 games last season for the Ravens, finishing with 54 catches for 607 yards and three touchdowns . ... While Chris Jones hasn't been a big part of the conversation for starting cornerback for the first six weeks of the season, coach Kliff Kingsbury has seen some strong work from the second-year player. "(He) had a fantastic spring. We feel like, even in situations where the ball is being caught, he's been there, and it's been competitive, and he's been locking on people," Kingsbury said. "We really like what we've seen from from him." ... Former Sun Devil Zane Gonzalez is the only kicker on the Cardinals' roster at the moment. While he struggled at Saturday's Red and White Practice, Kingsbury said there's no concern. He's been complimentary of Gonzalez through camp, and reiterated that. "Even his misses have been really close, and we feel great about where he's at," Kingsbury said . ... Offensive lineman Brooks Reed was back at practice, said he felt "good" and had no limitations. D.J. Humphries and Marcus Gilbert were on the sideline for practice, likely a veterans' day off.

New ticketing policy: The Cardinals announced Monday a new digital ticketing program, which will start with Thursday's preseason opener. Paper tickets will no longer be accepted. Fans can enter State Farm Stadium using either digital cards for seasonticket holders or a smartphone. More information is available on the Cardinals' website.

Injury report: Guard Justin Pugh (shoulder) will be out for a few weeks, Kingsbury said. Wide receiver Andy Isabella (knee) and safety D.J. Swearinger (soft tissue injury) are expected back to practice this week, though Kingsbury was not sure if either would play Thursday against the Chargers. Receiver Chad Williams also returned to practice.
