Brophy Prep swimmers, coach headline team
Finn Dowdall, Brophy Prep, Jr. Dowdall took home the Division I state championship in the 50-yard freestyle (20.50). He also was the runner-up in the 100-yard butterfly.
Matthew Leblanc, Chaparral, Sr. Leblanc finished the Division I 100yard breaststroke in 56.58, his fourth straight state championship in the event. He also finished fourth in the 200-yard individual medley.
Jon Carlo LoVullo, Boulder Creek, Sr.
LoVullo took home the victory in the 50-yard freestyle at the Meet of Champions (20.88). The senior swimmer finished as a runner-up in the 50 and 100yard freestyle events in the Division I state championships.
Luke Miller, Campo Verde, Sr. Miller won the Division II state championship in the 100-yard freestyle (45.56). He also was the runner-up in the 200-yard freestyle.
Matt Milovanovic, Brophy Prep, Sr.
Milovanovic captured the Division I state championship in the 200-yard freestyle in 1:38.45. The senior swimmer also reigned victorious in the 100-yard backstroke with a final time of 49.62. Jadan Nabor, Verrado, Sr.
Nabor took home the Division II state championship in the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 1:49.71.
He also captured the state championship in the 100-yard backstroke (48.84).
Essias Smith, Desert Ridge, Jr. Smith edged out Dowdall to capture the state championship in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 48.67. Smith also finished fourth in the 200-yard freestyle.

The senior swimmer paced the field and captured the 200-yard individual medley Division I state championship with a time of 1:49.71. Walker also finished runner-up in the 500-yard freestyle.

Daren Brubaker, Brophy Prep
In his second season at the helm, Brubaker led the Broncos to their 32nd straight Division I title (484 points) over Chaparral who scored 285 points.
