Justin Bieber announces Phoenix show, new single
Justin Bieber is coming to Glendale on June 5 for a concert at State Farm Stadium.
He announced his 2020 tour on Christmas Eve accompanied by news that his new single, “Yummy,” is arriving Friday, Jan. 3, as the first advance track from his forthcoming 2020 studio album.
The tour launches in Seattle on May 14.
Bieber has amassed more than 50 billion streams and more than 60 million album equivalents worldwide. His Grammy-winning 2015 album “Purpose” has sold more than 21 million copies worldwide.
Bieber’s recent collaboration with Ed Sheeran, “I Don’t Care,” hit No. 1 in 26 countries worldwide. Billie Eilish’s “Bad Guy” – with a Bieber remix – topped the U.S. charts, and his collaboration on “10,000 Hours” with Dan + Shay became the highest charting debut for a country song in the history of the Billboard Hot 100.
In 2017, the Bieber-led global smash “Despacito Remix” broke streaming records and became the most-viewed video of all time.
“Purpose” topped the charts in more than 100 countries and garnered a 2016 Grammy nomination for Album Of The Year. The album shattered global streaming records and yielded three consecutive No. 1 singles in the US – “What Do You Mean,” “Sorry” and “Love Yourself,” which received a Grammy nomination for Record Of The Year.
In February 2016, Bieber won his first Grammy: Best Dance Song for the “Purpose” track “Where Are U Now.”
Bieber launched his career in 2009 with the five-times-platinum worldwide hit “One Time” on his way to becoming the first artist to reach more than 10 billion views on VEVO.
